Guard control by GPRS

On-line control of guard surveillance rounds

Survaillance Round and Company vehicle attendance control by GPRS totally integrated to SoftGuard

SoftGuard Tech. Corp presents the ActiveGuard system, the most advanced technological solution for controlling guards, watchmen and monitoring response staff and receiving this information completely on-line, at SOFTGUARD for it's management and auditing.

We are reffering to an RFID tag reading device used for controlling surveillance rounds and attendance that includes a cellular voice and data modem. It combines an identification reader, a cell phone, a GPRS modem and a panic alarm.

The traditional control of attendance, i.e., controlling the arrival of staff at alarm checking locations or the control of surveillance rounds has changed significantly due to systems such as ActiveGuard. This revolutionary device is integrated with SoftGuard to process dialing in remote places in real time, by means of a data collection device or collector. For this particular case, it has GPRS mobile communications.

ActiveGuard’s physical resistance is IP67, which makes it able to survive any abuse it may receive, falls from several meters over concrete, immersion 1.5 meters under the water and other attempts to damage the equipment. A tamper clearly shows any sabotage attempt online.

Front buttons allow sending a PANIC, reading of tag type RFID and requesting an AUDIO call to the central monitoring station (ECM) or the the supervisor allowing the user to speak freely (avoids needing to give the guard or vehicle an additional radial or cellular device.)

Each device communicates with the Central monitoring Station to send Keep Alive messages during programmable periods, which SoftGuard processes, generating alarms when the device stops reporting.

Through SOFTGUARD Customers Web Access module, customers enter via web and are able to verify all the periodic inspection controls.

In this way, the Central monitoring Station controls the watchman’s round routines with “time targets” for each dialing, monitoring lack of compliance within seconds. The same procedure is used for the control of event attendance or the answer to alarms. SOFTGUARD records the vehicle's arrival, verifies each external or internal point under the alarm target and visit classification, with no need to phone the operator at the central station.

ACTIVEGUARD offers a new set of security services for the customer and new benefits for the supplier, who may offer his customer the most advanced technology in the electronic security world in order to protect lives and goods.
